After taking time to pause and pivot, WeINSPIRE is not only active again — we’re energized. This spring, we’re celebrating 10 years of inspiring change, uplifting communities, and creating a brighter, more positive future for all.
To mark this important milestone, we’re hosting an event called, "Inspiration to Activation: WeINSPIRE 10-Year Anniversary" this April in the Washington, D.C., area. We invite you to join us for music and community. At this significant moment for WeINSPIRE, we’ll recognize individuals who embody our mission and raise funds to continue our important work.

As we celebrate our first decade, we enter our second with a strengthened identity and a sustainable path forward. Our new mission and vision statements capture our commitment to spreading positivity and joy worldwide by focusing on three pillars: Internship, Leadership, and Storytelling.
Our Mission
WeINSPIRE is dedicated to sharing uplifting and inspiring stories highlighting the achievements and contributions of Black, Brown, and Indigenous Millennials.
Vision Statement
We strive to create a world where positive news and information are accessible to everyone and where diverse voices are celebrated and represented in the media.
Transforming Inspiration into Activation
With your support, WeINSPIRE evolved from a one-day event promoting positivity and inspiration into a global movement driven by individuals committed to making a difference. Through 150 inspiring stories, paid internships for more than 20 students, and by recognizing more than 30 ambassadors, we’ve offered hope through challenging times. We’ll soon release a podcast series reflecting on the past 10 years, and we hope you’ll listen.
