Ex-armed robber becomes a top student

It’s never too late to turn your life around. To take a negative lifestyle and turn it into a positive lifestyle. That is exactly what James Elliott, 27 who was convicted and sentenced to 7 years in prison after committing a home invasion as a teenager. Upon his release, he started taking classes at Del Tech and has transformed himself in two years. He was just named one of the top 20 community college students in the country as part of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society's All-USA Academic Team and is now running to be the president of the international honor society of two-year colleges.
